What was the highlight of Khaolak Sunset Resort
Its a great place to rest, very peaceful and has a wonderful view, its right on the beach.
The rooms are big and comfortable. The wifi is good, and almost all the rooms have a beautiful view. The beach is quite good. There is a forest behind, its lovely.
The TV in the room was not working well, it was blurry, we told them, they came and checked, then they said lthey will call the engineer, it had been a week but nobody fixed it. The sea is great but the water is a little bit blurry, not good for snorkelling but the sandy beach and the water is nice.

What was the highlight of Khaolak Sunset Resort
Quiet but a bit remote
The property is very quiet, being that it's at the end of the beach. Our room and terrace were both very spacious with a lovely sea view. The Andalay Bar is a short walk down the beach (north toward town) is a great choice for lunch or supper. There are two other options on the road just north of the resort but we liked the Andalay so much we stuck with that. The resort restaurant does some decent dishes for fair prices so it's also worth your while at least once.
We didn't buy the breakfast with our room and opted instead to order a la carte. The full breakfast was a bit underwhelming with "hot dog" style sausage, dodgy ham and untoasted, dry white bread (the ham & cheese croissant was good but not very filling). Unfortunately, there are no nearby restaurant options that serve breakfast - you would need to walk/taxi into town to find a breakfast restaurant. We ate one day at Walker's Inn and loved it (real coffee!!) but's a good 20-25 minute jaunt.

Off the beaten track, just right for us
Loved this place. It was perfect for us. A few niggles were outweighed. The view is gorgeous.
The bed was like a rock and the fridge was incredibly noisy. Could do with some bedside lamps.
